Coyhaique
By Car, Bicycle or Hiking
We are located about three kilometers to the south of Coyhaique. From the centre of town follow Av. Ogana out of town until you reach the traffic lights by the Copec petrol station. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road down the hill to the roundabout with the statue of a big hand holding a mate cup. Take the left exit at the roundabout and follow the winding road down into the valley. After you cross the bridge over the river Simpson look for our sign on the right. We are about 300 metres along the dirt road.
By Bus
Coyhaique has good bus connections to other parts of Chile and Argentina. The buses stop in the town centre and from there you can get a taxi or follow the directions in the box on the left to Hostal Salamandras
By Plane
The town of Coyhaique is served by Balmaceda Airport, which is about fifty kilometers to the south of the town. There are easily available transfer minibuses from the airport and they will come here to Hostal Salamandras if you tell the driver.
